Thanks John, I have only ever had fleeting glimpses of Bm4/4's in sidings whilst rushing along the Rhone Valley. :)

During my last trip to Switzerland a preserved SBB C5/6 2-10-0 (known locally as "elephants") disgraced itself by causing a number of lineside fires and had to be assisted by an Re4/4 electric loco. It wasn't the picture I was hoping to get:(

Interesting photo's I love the fire train, it looks quite effective. Do you have any photo's of it in action?

No, sorry Phil but I have found these photos on the net of the SBB Zürich Fire Train attending a lineside fire.
