55 016 is apparently missing off the preserved list?

Rough Tor, I think 55016 is no longer classed as preserved as it is due to return to mainline duties with DRS, not 100% though.

Yes this is an interesting one. According to Rail magazine, DRS is planning to use it for freight workings. My colleagues who have driven Deltics tell me that they aren't particularly suited to this.

So if it does happen, I think we should give a prize to the first person to snap a photo of the Deltic heading a RHTT. That would be using a sledgehammer to crack a nut ! ;)

I loved the Deltics with the white cab surrounds in the late 70s. I'm just old enough to remember seeing a few at my hometown Haymarket depot.

Saxokid: that's the whole class. In the 5th column P = Preserved, and C = Cut with the date following.
