In reality I think three publishers contacted ATOC about publishing a copy of the NRSTT (National Rail Spring TimeTable), as ATOC don't want to do it.

They were great, weren't they? - full of fascinating facts, wonderful line drawings and, at 6d each, a bargain. By coincidence, a colleague of mine brought his in to work a couple of weeks ago. He had just got hold of a copy of I-Spy Hospitals, which I gather is as rare as hen's teeth, and now had the complete set. The Railways edition was my first, though I did manage to get several other feathers for my head-dress over the years. Shrewd move by my parents, 'cos it kept me quiet on many a long journey!
