Which bridge?
Beeches Road,(the one near the recky) Great Central Road(Station entrance) or Empress Road(overlooks the MPD)
There are two other bridges over the Central ,Leicester Road & the road to Woodthorpe village.

Cheers Andy I'll have a look. I had some great times in Loughborough in those early days. Air days at RAF Wymeswold, boating at Barrow-on-Soar, My Uncle used to take Me to watch Leicestershire play cricket.
