He is completely bonkers.:eek: But his argument about all railway deaths not being counted in rail ftalities is true though I doubt that if those were taken into account that rail would still be safer. Also how can you exclude cyclist deaths as they are road users.

I think he is trying to say that less people are killed or injured in accidents involving road coaches than trains. That might be true at the moment but I can guarantee that the situation would soon change if, as he suggests, several thousand road coaches start speeding in and out of London during the rush hours every day.

There was a discussion about this on the Jeremy Vine show on Radio 2 today, I listened incredulously to a bit then turned it off in anger. These people are morons if they seriously believe this is a plan that would be of any use environmentally or startegically. Idiots. :mad:
