There are several books with photos of the Killin Branch in them including photos of the shed down by the Loch. I will have a look and post the titles.

Best wishes,

John H-T.

There is a beautiful colour picture of the station on page 31 of Hugh Ballantyne's book "Scottish Steam in Colour" published in 1986. Obviously still copyright so I can't reproduce the image but the ISBN is 0 7106 0403 3.

There is a useful photo of Loch Tay Station, loop and shed in Lost Lines in Scotland by Nigel Welbourn, pub Ian Allan, last reprint 2001. ISBN 0 7110 2276 3. The photo was taken April 1964. The Station Building was a private house by then, having closed to passengers September 1939, although goods traffic continued until November 1964 and the shed was still used till then.

I think I have books with other photos but it is like finding a needle in a haystack.

The track plan for Loch Tay should be at the NRM, although I am not sure if Scotish Station Plans are kept at York.

Hope this helps and I will keep looking.

Best wishes,

John H-T.
