Loco Repaints

Happy christmas and new year to you all,

My reason to post is not just to wish you all seasons greetings, but to pass on a moneysaving tip, during my time off i have got around to repainting one or two locos,my method is to use Fairy power spray available from most supermarkets, place the body in a resealable bag and spray the body
seal and leave overnight, remove and with a toothbrush make a start on removing the paint after brushing all the body simply wash under the cold tap, some bodies need more than one application to be void of their original livery.
Being water based the power spray saves the use of caustic strippers such as modelstrip, making it much easier.
Now all i need is to let the new paint dry decal and viola a new loco for the layout.

Nick
