New Pics

I have posted 2 new pictures from September 1979,they are DONT KNOW 12 and DONT KNOW 13. Can anyone tell me where it is they are taken from?????

I know they are not very good quality,they are old slides. My dad (who took the photos) seems to think that it is Shirebrook depot but we are both not sure.

Hi Pete. Yes, Shirebrook is right. We used to get refused permission to look round and would have to go down the lane and look over the field to see the locos. I only ever got round the place properly once, on the 1987 open day! Thanks for posting them, takes me back to my mis-spent youth.

Hi 62440. Thanks for confirming that the pics are of Shirebrook,i just remember driving over that bridge and seeing all those class 56 locos lined up,i think these pics were taken on a sunday morning because it was very quiet there,it was a great place for viewing all the locos.
