Introduction of Inter-City 125 in 1976
I have a question about the introduction of the Inter-City 125 in 1976. I wonder if anyone can help me directly or suggest where else I could try.
In 1976 the first Inter-City 125 service linked London, Bristol and South Wales. But from London to which seaside resort did the second service run? Thank you, in advance, for your help. |

It might have been Weston-Super-Mare.
Have a look at this link and see what you think. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=34464 Part way down the page there is a copy of a document showing trains to be worked by IC125's in 1976 and several refer to services to "Weston".
