Closure of Hope Exchange.

September the 1st 1958, saw the closure of The High and Low Level stations at Hope Flintshire.on the London Midland Region.
A funny if not strange operation at that location. They were used solely for exchange purposes. The High level station was on the Former Great Central line from Bidston(Wirral) to Wrexham and the Low level on the Former London & North Western line from Saltney near Chester to Mold and Denbigh. Neither station had any road access and no tickets were issued !
