Smile Warley Model Railway Exhibition, Birmingham, 1 -2 December.

Anyone going to Warley?

I will be there on Saturday.

As usual lookout for the dark red Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Fleece!

Best wishes,

John H-T.

Have a good time John.

I won't be going, but a report would be nice if you have the time. I'd be especially interested if any gauge 1 (45mm) narrow gauge was on show.

Had a good day at Warley and have posted a selection of the layouts that caught my eye.

Bath Green Park is spectacular. I have concentrated on some of the more unusual layouts. There were quite a number of large N gauge layouts running scale length trains on long runs. Also quite a few O gauge layouts.

Trev, sorry I didn't see any Gauge 1 narrow gauge. The best I could manage was the G Scale metre gauge layout : St. Jean sur Mer.

Thanks for the pictures John. I was due to go myself but had to cancel at the last minute.
Bath Green Park is a great subject for a layout so I can imagine how impressive it must have been.
Did you notice any Swiss layouts?

John,

The Swiss Railway Society were there but I didn't notice any Swiss layouts. However I am not sure I saw everything. It was so big!

Best wishes,

John H-T.

Pleased you had a good time John, and thanks for the pics. Shame about the lack of 45mm represention, but then the sort of thing that I and Gandalf John are currently interested in (ie. very freelance garden railways) is probably a tiny minority interest!
