Cool Transpennine express 185 delivery complete

I've seen it reported that First Transpennine Express have recieved there last 185. With the exception of the unit which returned to Germany for repairs. This is great news from a passenger point of view.

Has any other members tried the 185's? what are your opinions?

Alan.
There is a good picture of a new Class 185 DMU at Doncaster here. (I bet you have departed from this platform a few times over the years )
David Hick's has many other 185 pics on his website (including some shots of the interiors)

Thanks John The electrics look ok but they are not really my cup of tea but thats progress. Doncaster looks a lot different now, in my day there were no overhead wires. I do remember a pub outside Doncaster station I think it was called the Beehive or something like that. We sometimes went there for a couple of pints whilst on our break waiting to work our Kings Cross which had come from further north.

Thanks for showing me the photo 222007 I think it would look better if the doors were not painted red. Overall I'm not too impressed with the look, but the interior of the train looks good from what I've seen on other photos.
