Great link, shame 'Kestrel' didn't get to show it's true worth, and that it wasn't preserved in the end, I did buy the Heljan Model though of it!

I grew up at Stanton on the Wolds on the disused Nottm to Melton Mowbray railway. I have seen the APT-E on that line many years ago, from the top of Stanton Tunnel entrance

Great piece of film, and some memorable moments in rail history.
Shame about Kestrel though, didn't it end up getting exported to Russia.
