Class 390 locations?

Hi all,
I'm currently trying to find Class 390 trains numbered 390-006 (Tate Liverpool), 390-030 (City of Liverpool) and 390-022 (Penny the Pendolino) to take pictures of them.

What would be even more helpful is time tables for when they will be in service to Liverpool Lime Street.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thank you!

I'm not sure if they're rostered like that. A service can be rostered for a 390, but I think the decision on which one it is has no regular pattern? I think they'll just turn up when they turn up, if you know what I mean.

Like most units they're constantly swapped around and in and out of service.

Oh right. I'm all new to this. I actually thought they where kept on one service and only changed every so often.

Oh well, thank you for your answer anyway.

Well, I think the peak requirment for Pendolinos is something like 48 out 52 units ? So if you sit at Euston all day should should see almost all of them ?

Somebody should have details of the diagrams for these units.

Hi Chrismid,
It would be better at either Warrington or Manchester Piccadilli, they have more services than Liverpool, not too far from Liverpool either.

Crewe or Stafford would be better, particularly Stafford, as all Pendolino services north of Birmingham pass through. Have a look:

Do the Manchester-Euston services (via Stoke-on-Trent) pass through Stafford? I thought that they rejoined the WCML at Colwich Jnc and that it was only the Manchester-Euston (via Wilmslow) services that passed through Stafford.

You may very well be correct there John, I assumed that they turned off towards Stoke at Norton Bridge. It's still good for Pendos at Stafford though, whatever the case, if that's what you're after! Best place really is Watford Junction, as many make a stop there, but then that's a bit of a hike from Liverpool...
