Smile Class 59,parked at the sidings at shotton paper....

Seen class 59 in ews livery,at the sidings at shotten paper plant in Deeside,today. Are there any more of these still in use?? since the class 66 become very popular and took over main line dutys.....

There are the former ARC and Yeoman 59s.

I think the Yeomans were the 59/0s and ARC the 59/1s cant say how many there are around 20 (im sure someone will know)

There is also the 6 59/2s that are the former National Power loco's that were aquired by EWS in 1998 when they bought NP and since into DBS.

As far as I'm aware all 59s are still in service

59/201 Vale of York
59/202 Vale of Glamorgan
59/203 Vale of
59/204 Vale of Pickering
59/205 L.Keith Mcnair
59/206 Pride of Ferrybridge

Is there much (or any) freight traffic to/from Shotton Paper these days?
