Introduction of Inter-City 125 in 1976
I have a question about the introduction of the Inter-City 125 in 1976. I wonder if anyone can help me directly or suggest where else I could try.
In 1976 the first Inter-City 125 service linked London, Bristol and South Wales. But from London to which seaside resort did the second service run? Thank you, in advance, for your help.

It might have been Weston-Super-Mare.
Have a look at this link and see what you think. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=34464 Part way down the page there is a copy of a document showing trains to be worked by IC125's in 1976 and several refer to services to "Weston".
