Bachmann NRM Compound
NRM announced today that their next Limited edition with Bachmann is the Midland Compound, available from October 11th, price £140. Yet another model from my wish list! Trouble is the expence!

With two Garratts on order and a well tank to pay for this month, I think the Midland Compound is off my list for now, unless of course I win the lottery.

Don't forget that Hornby are re-issuing the Midland Compound in the Railroad range! At an 'affordable price'!! OK, it lacks the super detailing of todays models, but is it really necessary? Cheers IAN
