New kid at the station

Hi. I've just joined this forum. Been a railways sado most of my life really. I live in West Lothian and am more interested in freight than in the boring 158's and turbostars we see every day. If anyone out there knows about Scottish freight movements, I'd be keen to get the info.

I live very close th the Bathgate branch at present. It's currently in process of upgrading to double track (which has meant a few complete closures, one of which is this week) in preparation for the extension of the line through to Airdrie. Exciting times!

Anyway. Greetings to one and all.

L

Hi Luther welcome to the forum, sorry I can't help you with Scottish freight movements but I'm sure some other member will be able to help you.

Greetings to you as well Luther and welcome to the Forum. Like Locojoe I'm sorry I can't help you with Scottish freight movements as I live down in the West country although I did live in Stirling and Bridge of Allan, but that was back in 1969/70

Hello and welcome Luther. Unfortunately I don't have the information you are looking for either, but I'm sure we've got a few members who will be able to help.

Welcome Luther.

I agree with you about freight being more existing than little trains with little diesel engines
