Smile Where has it gone!

I tried to book a ticket on line from Hereford- Paddington, all the services offered were via Newport with one change, i made this journey just over a year ago going direct to Paddington via Worcester and the Cotswold line, - - - does anyone know if this route has finished?

We went to Hereford from Stourbridge about 3 months ago and we got on a 1stGW service from Worcester and had the option of 1st GW to come back. Think they were going to/from Paddington.
Richard.

I used to travel regularly between London and Hereford when I lived in Herefordshire (up to three years ago). The route was direct, via Worcester and Oxford. But looking on the Internet today I see no through trains on that route!

I had a look on internet. About 4 trains came up when I ticked the "no changes" box.

Looking more carefully at the website, I see there are five direct trains daily (M–F), none at weekends.

My apologies gentlemen, the online booking company give the fastest route via Newport, but when i clicked "slower route" it then gave me the journey via the Cotswolds, which takes longer.
