Hello - locomotive in 19th century Japan

Hello, I have joined to do some historical research. I have posted a question in the steam section which I hope someone can help with.

It's about a locomotive taken to Japan in the 19th Century by British merchant Thomas Blake Glover.

Thanks for taking the time to read and hope someone can help.

Jim
