Very new to this site and posting

I have a love not just of trains but the Architecture of the stations, the viaducts in fact everything.
All stress disappears when I hear or see a train, great after a week at work .

Hello and welcome Babs. I'm a recent arrival myself, and love it here. I totally agree about the railways, as you'll see in one of the photos I've posted!!

Hello Babs and welcome to the Railway Forum. Architecture of the older stations of British Railways Is something I find very pleasing, not so the more modern ones.

Hello and a belated welcome to the Forum. I was always interested in old stations myself although I was still quite young when BR started closing - then quickly demolishing - them in the 1960s. I grew up in Chesterfield and managed to get quite a number of photos around that area. Look forward to your posts.
