The films of this railway are great, thank you. Who owns it? Where is this located ? Is it open to the public?

The new extension is seen in the video below.

I attached a camera to the rear of the Mid/day Scot.

This travels over the new extension.

I would love to have the space (and finance) to set up a layout of this size and at this scale

Clearly a lot of time and effort has gone into this and the results are great and the detail achieved shows what can be done

Its nice to see such a great layout. (dont you get problems with leaves on the line?)
Must be hard to keep the track clean for the supply of power?
All the best and thanks
Phil

Hi There,
Sorry for the long delay in replying.
Tony,The railway is not open to the public. Originally built for the grandchildren ( I am sticking to that). Situated on the Isle of Sheppey Kent.
Silver Fox Phil,
The guards vans on the rear of passenger trains are track cleaners.
Generally speaking the locomotives weigh around 10 lb each and will knock most leaves out of the way. I use a heavy duty blower during leaf fall.

Roy.

Just viewed it all again and see the guards vans doing the job.
No matter how many times I view it , there is always something new to see along the way.
I love the effect of when back in the late fifties and early sixtied, I used to travel to London quite often to Kings X. Its so like travelling back in time and seeing all the different locos, steam and diesel in sidings and on the line etc.
Thanks for sharing that with us and to relive those heady days.
Cheers
Phil
