1st post then,

Hello, Im from Oxfordshire living a couple of mins from the GWML. Work often round trains, mostly unloading them, so have an intrest in freight.

Looking forward to reading the forums and hopefully posting as and when I can

Welcome to the forum Matty. 90% of my work on main line was freight when I worked on the railways. Mainly coal and copper bars, but some other stuff as well like cattle, cotton bales, mazes and explosives. I will leave you to guess which one I didn't like working with a steam loco.
