I had an absolutely brilliant time there today in lovely warm sunshine. I was only supposed to be doing Bury-Rawtenstall and back despite buying a full rover ticket, but when I got back to Bury the sight of those 2 x class 31s was too tempting. Shame about 40135 failing at Summerseat and putting everything back about 50 minutes though. They handled it well, I was sat on 55 009's train at Ramsbottom heading back to Bury, they detached the Deltic to go & get the failed train, Hymek came off the shuttle train waiting in Rammy sidings on to our train, everyone piled on to ours and headed back to Bury.
