Smile Exploring what is possibly the world's first railway tunnel?

Hi all,

I've made a YouTube video documenting the Hog Hill Tunnel in Stanhope, England, which some consider to be the world's first railway tunnel.

Please take a look and leave a comment if you wish. More of these to come

Opened 1834? The Wapping (or Edge Hill) tunnels into Liverpool dug for the Liverpool and Manchester Railway which opened in 1830, and over a mile long, appears to predate your little secret tunnel. If you do a bit of research on the Cornish tin and copper mining or the China clay industries, you will find many tunnels in existence during the 18th Century.
