It would be nice to use some locos for passenger trains instead of b****y units.

all of them then we could have some of the steam locos from the 5AT project if they ever make any of them.

37260 :-- You may partially get your way with the ill fortune that has occurred to one of the "New" Class 70 Loco`s which sounds like its going to be a write off and return Stateside !!

That's been confirmed the lifting rig broke and it dropped 15 feet it is remaining on board ship and going back to Canada and will be scrapped by a US firm there the term Damaged beyond economical repair doesn't come into it apparently it's wrecked
