I have been paid for many hours for sleeping on engines, it was best when you were working a Saturday rest day,
As you got time and three bits for time before 2359 and double time after 0001.
I can sleep for England whilst on an engineering train after midnight and all I dreamed about was the double time dropping into a big bucket, such was the life on BR in the 1980's
