Bridging the gap

Seems the bridge linking GCR north and south was lifted in last night.

What a milestone for the GCR and preserved railways in general.

This event is yet another indicator that the GCR was condemned way too early in its life.
This fact is highlighted every time I stand on Nottingham station and see the reinstated bridge from Weekday Cross that now carries the tram way.
