Had a few of these round here 70yrs ago
The one on the Hythe Branch always derailed after it fired

Nice to know apparently there are quite a collection of RTM around the country but this one is the biggest

I am surprised that any survived ! They were ineffective during WW2 so have they been maintained by the MoD since then ? More taxpayers money wasted.

According to what I read they were not actually used in anger in the second world war and the one going to Holland has had to been seriously restored recently and apparently is being part of a TV program later in the year
