Greetings from NJ - Looking for Information on Early 20th Century SE European Rail

Hello everyone.

I thought that now that I'm here, I may as well say a bit about myself while also putting in a small (well, not so small, I suppose) request here while I'm at it.

I'm 23 and, to be perfectly honest, I have no real interest in trains themselves, at least in the fashion that you all do. However, I am in the process of writing some alternative history. In the course of doing so, however, I've realised that a lot more of my tale than I had expected (at least in the beginning) is revolving around trains.

I'm mostly here looking for any information available that you folks might have on a very niche subject: that is, the early-20th century rail network of Austria-Hungary and Serbia.

Any help I could get on this, no matter the language of the source material, would be wonderful.

For those wondering, I'm mostly looking into anything and everything people might have - in particular the floor plans of the (pre-WW2 or early 20th century) Westbanhof and Nordbanhof stations in Vienna, Austria. Anything that you guys might have too on the preferred models of train used during the period, density of traffic on the rails, timetables, timetables for the train schedules, ticket prices, etc.

I'm well aware of how little rail infrastructure there was in this region during the period I'm looking for information - and how few folks seem to be interested in such a niche matter. I haven't found any truly usable information because of that, and that's what brings me here.

Welcome to the forum!

Good luck with your search. I think you need to be on a German based/speaking forum for this sort of specialist information.
