Crash closes west coast rail line (BBC News)

The main west coast rail line closes at Lockerbie Station after a southbound train hits someone on the track.

I was just about to start ranting there - 'crash' was the word that offended. Please try to moderate yourself here - there was no 'crash', thats the stuff of tabloids. Here was me thinking BBC news had used the term to describe a pigeon being splatted, but no it was a senior member of the forum.
