We are not subject to licencing restrictions so open whenever we feel like it but this year and for this year only the Pig's Ears will become The Flamingo's Legs (please do not ask why) and I'll be wearing a Pink Flamingo hat while cooking the turkey. The consolation is that I have plenty of beer to help me through the ordeal. Naturally Otto will be running with his load gradually being reduced each time round.
Come rain, shine or snow I'll be out there doing my Christmas Duty.

For those others with SWMBO s of their own we are adding spices and brandy to the elderberry wine (which was already 30% vodka, needed a bit of reinforcing as it seemed a bit weak at 12%)
I like this time of year!!!!
John.
You will be a fabulous neighbour if prohibition ever comes in John.
The Elderberry wine sounds lethal.
Enjoy yourself, best wishes.
Paul.
