Wensleydale Running Day
4th Of January With Confirmed Class 47 Haulage
The 4th of January will see Wensleydale resident 47715 and 47703 (with the kind permission of HNRC) hauling trains on the line. This date is one of the last running days before Operation Spring Clean, The line's annual closure for essential engineering. Fares are that normally applied to WR services with no HRA passes accepted. Diagrams As Follows 47715 1005 Departure From Leeming Bar 47715 1105 Departure From Redmire 47703 1205 Departure From Leeming Bar 47703 1305 Departure From Redmire 47715 1450 Departure From Leeming Bar 47715 1550 Departue From Redmire arr Leeming 1650 It has also been announced that should the ETH provision of '715 be unobtainable on the day then the 1450 Leeming-Redmire will be top'n'tailed with 47715 facing West for the 1450 from Leeming Bar and 47703 facing East for the 1550 return trip. Welcome to the Forum and look forward to your posts. Hopefully you will keep us up to date with news from the Wensledale Railway. Could well come up to Wesleydale on the 4th January, even if I cant use my HRA pass! Best wishes, John H-T. |
