Arkadas, Well. for me......I think that Europe can show us a thing or two. WE, in Britain don't value our railways and have not invested in them to the point that you have in Europe.

Most people here, (in the south of the UK especially it seems) just don't seem to .."get it"!

In Europe, if you want to travel from say: Paris to Milan? or maybe to Madrid? Then the ICE or TGV is the first choice......

Here in "Blighty" ,,,Oh well....we travel for 2 hrs to the airport.......take 2hrs to check in and clear customs.........wait 3 hrs due to security regulations........... finally board the cattle truck in the sky..........landing in a remote European airport 1 hour away from our destination because it's cheaper........

Yes, Arkadas, This "is" the age of the International HST train............Faster than the plane! ......only WE haven't realised it yet!....

Give us say:....another....50years or so? Maybe then, we will realise it......................or maybe not..
