Viewing Toton Depot from the outside

Can anyone give me any tips for viewing Toton from the outside? A quick google shows many pictures taken from outside and a look at the map appears to show plenty of footpaths with a good view. Is the area safe though for a camera on show and is a weekend better than a week day?

Grateful for any intel on how best to see the most. Many thanks.

Hi Goose

The Bank is a well trod area (muddy when wet) but you need a BIG lens to get close access is from Bessell Lane where you park where you can then follow the footpath from the Scrap Yard

then there is The Canal towpath but from the Lock at Bennet Street/Willoughby Street junction on Google there is a clear path up to the Fence at the West side of the Shed

Binoculars and long lenses are a necessity though due to the distances that you are away from the Shed
