Hello from another newbee

Just thought I'd pop up and say hello.

I have a had an interest in railways for years - it served well as an off season hobby when I wasn't enjoying my first love, aircraft.
I found the forum via Fluffysausage's site dealing with the SMJ and Towcester station, a railway and location I became interested when living at home with the folks.
I have walked a fair chunk of the formation and I am sharing this info with FS.

I spent many an afternoon at the remains of Roade station and in the car park at Banbury watching the trains go past. I also enjoy the preservation scene as well as the modern image.

Well I think that'll do - any questions just ask.
Cheers
Thermos

Welcome,

What type of aircraft?
I was into gliding myself once, and would love to go back to it. Fying in summer, and steam train photography in winter - perfect! (Just need my lottery numbers to come up first.)

Hi all,

Shed Cat

In my spare time I marshal aircraft (you know the guys with the bats) and deal mostly with vintage & classic stuff although I do work Abingdon Air & Country Show.

I did glide through the air cadets (going solo before I could drive on the road)and I have managed to do some flying. I too await my lotto numbers to come up.
