Fiskerton Signal Box

Does anyone know if Fiskerton Station Box is MR vintage, It looks a bit old to be LMS. Thats not an optical illusion it really is leaning backwards.

Thanks for that Bubblewrap, I think they look great I hope at least one of them manages to get preserved. I always like to get one in a shot with a steam loco if I can but there arn't many steam trips on that line. Luckily there's one this Saturday.

There is one box kind of preserved at Leicester at the rear of the power box.
It is used by the S & T department for " Traing purposes".

It looks very nice and one would hope it will be preserved. Have you ever seen the one at Quorn on the GCR. Its from Market Rasen and is reputed to be the oldest stucture on the line dating back to 1886 from the MS&L. Lovely box and well maintained for its age.
I actually remember it from my days when I lived in the town. (back in the 50's)
Anyway I too love to see a box in the picture with a steam engine. It gives it added atmosphere.
All the best Peter
Regards
Phil

What's with the net curtains in half the window. Never seen that in a box before.
