Hi from Reading

A Newby to the forum but not to the Railways, fell in love with the railway at a young age but drifted away for some 35 years but always kept an eye on things.

Have been an Aircraft Engineer for some 25 years ,but a friend of mine re-introduced me to the passion of the Railways and now i'm hooked again. , it's like a drug!!

I'm now spending most of my freetime enjoying my passion of photography and am normally found on local platforms and bridges taking photos.

Sometimes wish I worked on trains rather than aircraft.

LOL. I can assure you there are plenty of people on the railway who wanted to work in aviation - I'm one of them. I guess the grass is always greener.
