Cheap Hornby stuff in TKMaxx!

I hasten to add, I was not shopping there, but was alerted by my good lady wife. I was on the ELR in Bury, she was shopping in Bury TK Maxx and spotted Hornby Q1s at £49 and a Hornby Class 50 (019, Agincourt) at £59 (which I bought.) They are in the "Toys" section, don't know if other stores have them.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Did you get any bargains then Adam? I've just had a look on their website but it doesn't have a listing for toys, so maybe it's just a local offer. We've got a branch in Hull I think, so I'll have a look round next time I'm in town.

Red face

To be honest with you, by the time I got back in to Bury last night it was already closed, so I couldn't have a look. I'll go and investigate as sson as I get a chance, and then I will report back.

Checked the St Helens store yesterday, nothing in there. Maybe it's just Bury for some reason.

btw Adam, to save you time, go straight upstairs, over to the left at the back there's an aisle with various "toys" on it. The Hornby stuff is/was at the rear of that. That way you can be in and out quicker. *shudder*

Cheers, all though I don't mind TK Max, mainly because it's cheap! I got my jacket that I use when I'm a TTI from there come to think of it.
