Put him in a locked Pendolino carriage, one with a blocked toilet and no ventilation. Then give him a 24 hours of continuous rides between Euston and Glasgow. And then make him clean the carriage at the end of it. That would make the punishment fit the crime.

Pleased to hear they got him but what on earth are they going to do with him, his act was similar to what my Autistic Grandson did, he used to wipe his stuff over the bedroom wall, this person may also be Autistic and no matter how filthy we think the act is they just cant help themselves, I would like to think that is what the problem is rather than just being a destructive maniac.

Thankfully my Grandsons habbits have been fixed up by medication.

Regards

David.

I remember we had this same problem in steam days. I remember one day the guard on our train telling me that he had just locked a compartment where someone had crapped on the floor. This is not the only time It happened it was a regular occurance, the culprit was obviously someone with some sort of mental problem.

A report in Railway magazine says that a group of youths have done the same thing on a train from Phwelli (spelling?) to Birmingham. The carriage had to be locked out of service.

Read about it in the metro, he was defecating on trains to "purge himself of the voices telling him to kill other people" and detained indefinately under the mental health act.

why CCTV released the images ?
In China , passenger‘s feces discard on rail(toilet's waste pipe connected to rail directly). this creating a risk to public health! especially creating a highly risk to railway worker!

peng,
In Europe the toilets of older trains are the same as in China. All new trains now retain the faeces in a tank and it is emptied in the railway depot.
The man who was seen on the CCTV was leaving his faeces in the passenger compartment. He was not using the toilet.
