Hiya everyone

Just popping in to say Hi.

I am a 50 something guy that has been around all the usual hobbies over the years from extreme kit buggying to wargaming and I have now come to my senses and come back home to trains .

I am delighted to have found these forums and will look forward to taking part in discussions and maybe even post up the odd photo etc.

I have also managed to persuade my long suffering wife that an N scale layout would fit well in my home office so I might be able to update ya all on that in the near future.

Ray

Ray

Welcome to the forum and look forward to seeing your photographs, particularly anything from Scotland in the 1970s.

Welcome from another newcomer.

You sound like me, been doing all sorts of things before coming back to where I started. Still do kit building but watching motor racing, wargamingetc, has all faded away and now I'm starting to plan my N gauge railway in the spare room. Hope we both get on okay with it.

Hi Ray and a warm welcome from me too. Like so many members I re-found the wonders of the steam railways (for me its steam all the way). So you are in good company and hope to see your posts and photos soon.
Best wishes
Phil

Thanks for excellent welcome chaps, really nice of you all to take the time. I have put together a nice little wish list for Christmas so here's hoping eh

I'll get some posts up soon as I almost have a track loan finished for the layout. Also distinguish off my camera to take some photos of the current railways around edinburgh and Glasgow
