Attached is a photo of GWT 28XX 2859 at Langollen taken in February 2003. It is still in the same place (as at 8.11.2009) and has been up for sale for some time: no takers! There are a number of other ex Barry 28XXs in a similar condition. It will need at least £500,000 and probably at lot more to restore. I always hate to say never but ................ !

It is a shame to see the class 37s going they have been round for years what waste,scraping these..............
