I don't think that attitude is acceptable in the 21st century especially when the residents had previously been assured that noise levels would be kept to a minimum during the night.

I agree with Swisstrains, but I agree with you too,

The problem on the NEW Alloa branch is that some of the houses have a railway to their front which has been there for o many years before the houses were built then you buy a house next to a railway 'you pays your money you take your chance', The railway to the rear has only just reopened,less than a year I think certinlay not much longer and the residents were assured that noise levels would be kept to a minnimum.

I have been in Stirling station as a loaded coal train has gone through and the trains are not doing the line speed through the station and the noise is horrendous thats before the vibration sets in.

I think the residents have a point
