Cruel as it may seem, one of them needs to get badly injured themselves while carrying out their mindless acts, then try explaining how it came about.

Not my fault the train ran into me , the driver should have stopped before it hit me.

Sadly Gandalf you are spot on ..... it is never their fault! ...... they think they can get away with anything by disclaiming reponsibility.
