Prague Metro and Trams

During a recent visit to Prague, we were delighted at the amazing transit system in the city. The Metro is clean, fast, frequent and heavily used. The trams are everywhere and also very heavily used, extremely frequent (they sometimes queue up at stops!). The transit system is the very best way of getting around the city quickly.

Here are a couple of video clips

An interesting set of pictures Alan. Thanks for sharing them, although in many respects I wish you hadn't as they highlight just how scruffy much of our public transport and many of our town and cities are.
At home we try to use public transport as much as possible but it rarely seems as pleasurable as in other countries and I don't think the "feel good" factor is totally to do with being on holiday. We just don't seem to be able to get it right.
