Oswestry Station Platorm Being Rebuilt

The platform at Oswestry Station, part of the Cambrian Railway line, is currently being rebuilt. This is part of a large project to reopen the line between Oswestry and Llanyblodwel, and eventually Oswestry to Gobowen.

The project is currently in its 1st Phase, which is to clear the station area at Oswestry and rebuild the main platform. Details of this project can be found here at the The Cambrian Heritage Railways website - www.cambrianrailways.com

Also updates and photos of the progress can be found on this blog - www.cambrianrailways.com/blog

Due to the amount of brickwork needed to complete the platform, we are running a 'sponsor a brick' campaign, donations are as little as £5 per brick.
Details of this campaign are to be found here - http://www.cambrianrailways.com/html...r_a_brick.html
