The best-known example of a URL is the "address" of a web page on the World Wide Web, e.g.
http://www.example.com.
If you post the URL another user can click on it and go straight to the same page.
Quickest way is to click on the URL,(right click on mouse) cut, and then (right click again) paste into your post.
