Hello,
Just a short note to introduce myself, My name is Julian and I work in the railway industry in London for Virgin trains.
I travel by train as much as possible and these days mainly in Europe or further! I have recently returned from a trip to Jordan and Syria quickly followed by a weekend in Switzerland for a steam event at Bauma.
I will be off again soon to France and Switzerland for the Mercia tour on the BLS routes and some threatend french services.
My main intrest is Diesel and electric, older and loud types prefered although I can also be found behind steam locos.
Apart from the technical side I am into 'haulage' so most postings will be about rarer locos and where and how to get them.
