I'm quite fond of stations with minimal service, such as Tees-side Airport, Denton, Pegswood and Chathill to name a few!
I also like Manors station, in Newcastle......always quite photogenic, especially in the snow! ;

Talking about 'pet' stations I belive British Steel Redcar and Sunderland stations are up for adoptation..............................
