Mad Windham

Hello all

I am interested in aspects of railway history and have researched the case of William Windham, squire of Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk in the 1860s, who was a railway obsessive. He bribed operatives on the Eastern Counties, and other lines, to let him work trains dressed as a guard and take other unauthorised liberties. He was put on trial by disgruntled relatives, who accused him of madness. I have written a book about him titled "Bring Him in Mad" which is on Amazon.
